Odile never wanted a large line. She wanted pieces that worked together — a 16, an 18 and a 22 inch that sat right when worn at once.
Each series was numbered. When the number was gone, the series was gone. She has closed the line.

Questions worth asking
Will the gold wear off?
Not within twelve months — that is the guarantee. The base is stainless steel, not brass, so there is nothing underneath to turn green.
Can I wear it in the shower or the sea?
Yes. Rinse and wipe dry after saltwater and it stays as it is.
Will it irritate my skin?
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic and nickel free. If you react to costume jewellery, this is the metal that usually works.
What if it does not suit me?
Thirty days to return it, shipping covered both ways.
Will these come back?
No. The line is closed and each series was numbered — when a piece is gone, it is gone.
How she worked
Three at a time, never one
Odile did not design pieces. She designed groups. A chain was drawn next to the two it would be worn with, and if the three did not sit right together, none of them left the bench.
That is why the lengths in a series are never round numbers. Sixteen, eighteen and twenty-two inches is not a catalogue decision — it is the distance that keeps three chains from crossing on the collarbone.
Each series got a number and a fixed run. No reprints, no seasonal colours, no version two. When the run was finished she moved to the next number.
Why it is closing
The last numbers
A line built on fixed runs has an end written into it. Odile kept going as long as there were series she still wanted to make. When there were not, she stopped — rather than repeating the ones that had sold.
What is left is the archive: the final pieces of each numbered series, still in the finishes and lengths she chose. They are going out for a fraction of what they cost individually, because there is nothing to protect anymore. No next season to price against.
When a piece is gone, that number is closed.
